Another FCBD has come and gone, and I never take nearly enough pictures but here are the few I have.
Rich Woodall sketching for me a long over due book. Good thing I’m patient.
Oh hey look, its Matt Talbot too!
Rich just had to be in this picture of Matt (with his better half in the background).
After a very, very long day, the creators… and me, half out of costume.
Comics and prints and signatures after he break!
Free comics, Johnny Raygun comics and more free comics…
Original Yoda and a limited print from Bob Raymond.
Woodall’s Turtles prints signed by Eastman, Lawson & Lavigne!
The newest issue of The Red Claw!
Another Woodall print! Fantastic!
With all credit given to Kirby.
Turtle Power! Lots of great artists had Turtles prints. (Lots of sellers had lots and lots of Turtles books.)
Death of Spiderman sketch by Woodall. I gave him this book at FCBD 2012 in trade for some old comics. Arrived nicely this year. Its all good though…
Asked him to do this only a week ago. Came out superb! Now he just needs to make a costume and both of us can run around looking like this at shows!
The book that started it all. The third printing signed by Eastman & Laird.
IDW HC book five, signed by everyone with head sketches. This is the only book of the five that all four guys did the little guys.
Third printing of the first 11 books, plus the micro series and Fugitoid collected. Signed by Eastman, Lawson & Lavigne. Laird was trying to help the line keep moving by only signing three books per person. He did offer for folks to get back in line and he’d sign three more but the line was cut off even before people had time to finish lining up. So many fans, so little time.
The Jetpack variants “four pack” with bonus books. There is only three variants you say?
Because of the reduced limits for signatures, I decided only to have all four guys sign stuff. This book got signatures for the crew, some head sketches, some not.
The Jetpack volunteers bag (minus the FCBD/25th anniversary TMNT#1, that I gave to a friend).
Sadly, I had packed these four books, but again with the change to the limits, they remained unsigned by Eastman. Here’s hoping that he comes next year for a third trip to Jetpack Comics.
edit: a very small write up by the local paper…
